Understanding Your CDCP Coverage
Important: CDCP coverage does not always cover 100% of treatment costs.
Most patients will have a co-pay (out-of-pocket portion) depending on their plan level and the services provided.
Our team will always review your estimated coverage with you before treatment, so there are no surprises.
Who Qualifies For The Plan?
- Tax-Filers & Residents: You must be a Canadian resident for tax purposes and have filed a tax return for the previous year.
- No Private Coverage: You do not have access to any form of private dental insurance (such as an employer-sponsored plan, a pension-based plan, or a private group plan).
- Income Requirements: Your "adjusted family net income" must be under $90,000.

CDCP may include partial coverage for services such as:

- X-rays

Coverage is based on CDCP guidelines and approval, and some treatments may require preauthorization.
